(III) Organosilicon Materials

RTV Silicone Rubber Additives: As crosslinking agents and adhesion promoters for room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber, they enhance the adhesion strength of silicone rubber to substrates such as metal, glass, and plastics, improving water resistance and weather resistance. Suitable for building sealing, electronic potting, and other applications.

Organosilicon Adhesive/Coating Modification: Improves the adhesion of silicone adhesives and coatings to various substrates, while optimizing their resistance to chemical media and UV aging, extending their service life. (IV) Coatings and Inks Industry

Adhesion Promoters: Widely used in solvent-based and water-based coatings and ink systems, especially suitable for metal coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, and automotive coatings. They solve the problem of insufficient adhesion between the coating and the substrate, improving the coating's impact resistance, scratch resistance, and salt spray resistance.

Filler Surface Modifiers: Used to treat inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate, talc, and silica, improving the dispersibility of fillers in organic resins, reducing system viscosity, and enhancing the mechanical properties and stability of coatings.

Fluoropolymer Modifiers: As modifiers for alkoxysilane crosslinked fluoropolymer fluids, they improve the adhesion and crosslinking density of fluoropolymer coatings, expanding their application in high-end anti-corrosion fields.

(V) Composite Materials and Bonding Field

Composite Material Interface Modification: Used for surface treatment of reinforced composite materials such as glass fiber and carbon fiber, enhancing the interfacial bonding between fibers and the resin matrix, and improving the flexural strength, impact strength, and resistance to damp heat of the composite material. Dissimilar Material Bonding: Used as a primer or additive in bonding dissimilar materials such as metal-plastic, glass-plastic, and ceramic-resin, establishing stable interfacial adhesion. Suitable for high-end fields such as electronics assembly, automotive manufacturing, and aerospace.

(VI) Other Special Applications

Chemical Synthesis Intermediates: Synthesizes special silane coupling agents containing urea, azido, and phosphate groups through reactions of isocyanate groups with amines, hydrogen azide, and phosphate esters, expanding the application range of silane products.

Laboratory Chemical Reagents: Used in organic synthesis and materials science research, especially suitable for the preparation of novel functional materials and surface modification research.

IV. Precautions for Use

This substance is irritating. Protective gloves, goggles, and masks must be worn during handling to avoid skin contact and inhalation of vapors.

It undergoes a hydrolysis reaction upon contact with water, producing carbon dioxide gas. Preparation and application must be carried out in a dry environment, and moisture should be avoided in the mixed system.

It can be used in conjunction with tin catalysts and amine catalysts to accelerate cross-linking reactions, but the amount added must be controlled to avoid affecting the product's storage stability. The recommended addition amount should be adjusted according to the application scenario, usually 0.5%-3.0% of the total mass of the system. The specific dosage needs to be determined through experimental optimization.
